AMP (Analysis of Mobility Platform) is an integrated set of automated tools which provides a highly interactive environment for analyzing end-to-end transportation simulations. It is used by the U.S. Transportation Command for programmatic analysis, wargames, exercises and training.
Exciting opportunities are available for software developers to enhance AMP capabilities, expand coverage of new transportation models, and develop the foundation for a new agent-base architecture. You will be responsible for designing and developing new functions, GUIs, data manipulation tools, interfaces and analyses. You will interact with the customer to define new requirements, develop code, and perform integration.
Education: B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent.
Experience Required:1-5 years related experience. We are looking for both junior and senior level software engineers. A working knowledge of LISP and UNIX is a requirement. Knowing databases (Oracle), being a good team player, experience with large complex systems and good troubleshooting skills are all pluses. A security clearance, which requires US citizenship, is required for this position.
