Academic Licensing Options

Franz Inc. is a major sponsor of many academic endeavors, including the Dynamic Learning Center (www.dynamiclearningcenter.com). We are committed to supporting the use of Allegro CL at the academic level, and offer significantly-reduced pricing to universities or academic institutions who wish to use it for teaching or research purposes. The Academic License includes product technical support at the same level provided to commercial customers.

Franz also encourages Academic Institutions to freely distribute certain Allegro CL-based applications at no charge. Please note, however, that should an academic institution use the results of research applications in a commercial environment, a commercial license will be required. Please review the Franz Software License Agreement for more details.
