native-character-sizeof

Arguments: character &key (external-format :default)

This function returns an integer.

This function returns the number of bytes needed to represent character using the external-format specified by external-format. Overriding the default external-format is not supported in this Allegro CL release. When :default is specified, the value of *default-external-format* is used.
